The sideboard is made from ash shop sawn veneer. The case veneer is book matched and the cabinet doors and drawer are continuous grain slip matched. All the wood came from the same tree that was slabbed and air dried in Kim's backyard. The doors and drawer are push to open. The drawer has dovetail joinery. The base is made from walnut. Kumiko sliding door with mulberry paper. 57 inlays on the top of the case create a mosaic patchwork. The piece is inspired by Danish Modern furniture.
